Milwaukee right angle1/16/2024 ![]() Save the money, buy the standard reach, it'll be better for majority of tasks.Īgain it's something where eventually you'll probably want to get an extended as well but out of: I would not recommend it if it's your only one. Extended is quite awkward to use when you don't need it. I thought the same thing until I actually got an extended reach (I'd already had a 2557 at that point). ![]() You might feel that an extended reach will "work well" in both a situation you need reach and where you don't. However if you do not have any other cordless ratchets I would not get an extended reach. Ideally you will want to get both eventually (if not right at the moment) but if you're just going to choose one for now, I'd pick the ratchet. (Ask me how I know □) Ratchet will not do that, though then again it might bust your knuckles into something when it stops moving instead LOL. If you go to tighten something with the RAIW and accidentally have it on 3 instead of auto mode, you can easily snap off smaller fasteners in an instant. The anvil on an impact is free spinning when not powered. The RAIW cannot ratchet meaning you can't use it manually as a ratchet like you can with the.ratchet. You will likely use the ratchet way more than the impact but doesn't mean the RAIW isn't use ful.
